I’m on a Virgin Voyages Cruise! – Emma Cruises Weekly Newsletter

Hello from Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady! Currently bobbing around the sea between Scotland and Iceland. 😁❤️

This is my 5th day onboard and what an adventure it’s been so far. The food, the ship, the cabins, the entertainment I can’t wait to show you it all. 😎⚓️

I have been SO incredibly impressed by the food, the crew and lots of little things Virgin do differently (like included Soda). I’m on here with some friends and it’s definitely been a great choice for us. 🥳🥤

This cruise wasn’t cheap, but it does feel worth it so far. I paid extra to upgrade to a balcony because each one has a hammock and I have no regrets about that, it’s so comfy! I’ll share the full breakdown of how much I paid in my video when home. 🐬⚓️

For the most up to date day to day content, make sure you’re following me on Instagram. 📲💻

PS, THERE ARE ONLY 3 DAYS LEFT TO ORDER YOUR FIRST MATE ROLO OR CAPTAIN HUDSON. PLEASE DON’T MISS OUT! All profits are donated to charity and this version won’t ever be available again. 😁❤️

Cruise lines often try to give you the impression that you need to buy a drinks package to get the most value and enjoyment out of your cruise.

Drinks packages sound simple, pay once and then you can drink what you like without having to think of the cost.

When you first board the ship, it is unlikely that you will be able to go straight to your cabin.

This can surprise first-time cruisers, especially if they board in the morning carrying lots of hand luggage.

Why You Usually Can’t Go Straight to Your Cruise Cabin After Boarding

When you embark on your first cruise, you may be worried about things you have forgotten about or be concerned that you aren’t as well prepared as you should be.
