Emerald Azzurra Suites, Honest Review and Cabins To Avoid (Real Photos)

If you are taking a cruise on the Emerald Azzura or her sister ship Emerald Sakara you may be wondering which cabin to pick.

I have just disembarked the Emerald Azzurra, after a wonderful cruise from Athens. We travelled through the Corinth Canal, and around the Greek Isles.

I stayed in a balcony cabin at the front of deck 5.

There were 76 crew members and only 85 guests onboard.

My balcony stateroom was right at the front of deck 5, and in front of it was the bridge.

The cabin size is around 285-310 ft² / 27-29 m²

These balcony suites have a maximum capacity of 2 people.

The balcony itself was quite large.

To find out more about what I thought about my stateroom, watch this video next:

Deluxe Balcony Suite

There are only two deluxe Balcony Suites on each ship.

These have an extra separate seating area, so are larger than the standard Balcony cabins.

The cabin size is between 35.5m² – 37.5m² / 383 -398 ft²

These balcony suites have a maximum capacity of 2 people.

Cabins to Avoid on Emerald Azzurra And Emerald Sakara

There are no bad cabins on Emerald Azzurra or Sakara.

Usually here I’d write about how you should avoid cabins above the theatre (there is no theatre onboard Azzurra) or under the pool deck (there isn’t a deck like this).

Oceanview Stateroom cabins are the smallest and cheapest onboard. These are the only cabins onboard without their own balcony.

Oceanview cabins 301 and 302 are slightly smaller than the others, so maybe avoid these two.

Azamara, although a luxury cruise line, do have a few inside cabins. As i always try to cruise on a budget, I chose one of those. Find out all about my cabin, and whether i got a luxury experience in the article below:
