Disembarking Celebrity Infinity AND Sun Princess!

Hey hey hey! This winter has been long and cold hasn’t it? I’m convinced I’m sun-powered like a lizard, and that’s why I booked a last-minute break onboard Celebrity Infinity. 🌤️🕶️

I’ve just got home and I can confirm, the sun does still exist. Greece is keeping it for a while longer though! 😂☀️

Infinity is a little ship built in the year 2000 and I loved my time on her. I was so lucky that just by pure chance, I was docked by the brand-new Sun Princess in Athens.

My friend Don managed to get me a day pass (woohoo), and I was able to meet LOTS of other YouTubers, which was incredible. More about that here. 🤩💪🏼

You will often find stories in the news about the biggest, newest cruise ships.

Older, smaller cruise ships are often overlooked, but there are many advantages to sailing on older ships.

In this article, we will discuss the many reasons why you shouldn’t discount these ships when looking for your perfect cruise.

9 Reasons You Shouldn’t Avoid Cruising on Older, Smaller Cruise Ships

MONEY-SAVING CRUISE TIP OF THE WEEK:

Despite what the cruise lines will suggest, you really don’t need to eat in any restaurants onboard that cost extra. I didn’t pay anything extra for food on my last cruise, and the way I see it, I’ll never be able to eat all the included food, so why pay for more?

I am lucky enough to cruise many times a year, and there are five things I always do once I get on board.

I am quite an organised person, so prefer to get things done as soon as possible. Then I can just sit back and enjoy the rest of my cruise!

Find out what those five things are in the article below.

LIVESTREAM SCHEDULE:

  • Next Live: Friday 22nd at 5pm UK, which this week is 1pm Eastern because the US has changed their clocks, but we haven’t yet, confusing, isn’t it?

The stream is here and it’ll show you your local time if you’re in doubt.

If you are taking a cruise you may be wondering what there is to do when onboard. Cruise ship entertainment varies a lot by cruise line but some common types are found on many ships.

In this post, we will explore what you are likely to do with your time onboard as well as some hints and tips to make sure that you don’t miss out.

Whilst I was busy enjoying my Norwegian Fjord cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas my parents were sailing around the Norwegian Fjords on the MSC Virtuosa. This wasn’t planned at all, it was just a coincidence.

In this post, we compare the two cruise experiences, so you can see which might suit you best.

THANK YOU:

Thank you all so much for your comments on my Sun Princess posts last week. If you ever see any of my content has ‘ad’ at the start, the comments are EXTRA appreciated. The more engagement these posts get the more doors open up for me to do amazing things, like this day visit.

In this case, I needed to put ‘ad’ on the content because I was invited onboard and didn’t pay anything. Theres a debate about if I need to disclose properly as it was just a day pass that money can’t buy but I would prefer to be TOO clear than not enough.

Your lovely comments encourages me that I make the right decision to do that. Thanks so much for your support always.

Have a fantastic week,
