If you’re taking a cruise with Celestyal you may be wondering which drinks are included in the cruise fare. In this post we cover all included cocktails, beers, wines, spirits, non alcoholic and hot drinks.
What is an ‘all-inclusive’ cruise fare?
Celestyal Cruises are an ‘all-inclusive’ cruise line. These fare does not include everything onboard.
This means that their cruise fares include unlimited alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, gratuities and a few select shore excursions. I recently took a 4 night cruise onboard the Celestyal Olympia, to read my daily cruise diary and learn what a Celestyal cruise is really like check out the post here: Celestyal Cruises: Review and Daily Photo Diary 2019
Celestyal Cruises Menus
There are two main menus that you will find around Celestyal cruise ships.
- The first is a menu simply called ‘bar menu’. This menu includes the drinks that are included in your cruise fare.
- The second is a menu called ‘platinum menu’. As the name suggests these are the premium drinks that you are able to buy onboard. These are not included in the cruise fare.

The cocktails were all really good. I found that the descriptions were sometimes a little vague like ‘5 White Spirits’ but I think that they may have been translated from another language.
The waiters were all very attentive and would happily answer any questions about the drinks. I also like how the only description of the Vodka Martini is ‘007 comes to mind’ ha ha.
A lot of the cocktails use liqueurs mentioned below.
Celestyal Cruises All Inclusive Authentic Greek Liqueurs:
Skinos Mastiha – “Indigenous to the island of Chios, Mastic has therapeutic properties offered by the Mastic free. Can be accompanied with a dessert or with a coffee ice cold or as an aperitif.”
Ouzo – “Ouzo is a drink for companionship and confessions. Containing anise, traditionally and exclusively produced in Greece.”
Tsipouro – “Tsipouro is an authentic Greek product produced by the distilliation of grape marc, bound to relax you.”
Rakomelo – “Produced from Tsipouro/Tsikoudia sweetened with honey. Enjoy cold as a digestive after a meal.”
Tentura – “Exclusively produced in Greece, the taste, aroma and color are attirubted to the extracts of spices, mainly cinnamon, clove and nutmeg.
Koum Kouat – “A pleasant liquer made from Kumquat fruits, with an aroma and taste that resembles oranges and strawberries, is exclusively produced on the island of Corfu.”
Celestyal Cruises All Inclusive Spirits:
J.W Red Label

Brandy and Cognac
Celestyal Cruises All Inclusive Liqueurs:
Amaretto Di Saronno
Celestyal Cruises All Inclusive Shooters (shots):
B52 – Kahlua, Grand Marinier and Baileys
J.D Flame – Bourbon Whiskey and Drambuie
Orgasm – Amaretto, Kahlua and Baileys
Celestyal Cruises All Inclusive Non-Alcoholic Cocktails:
All Virgins Mary
There aren’t any descriptions of the non alcoholic cocktails on the menu which I thought was a bit odd. I don’t know if everybody else knows what a ‘Mickey Mouse’ is, but I don’t. That said, they were very good and I enjoyed a fruit punch.
Celestyal Cruises All Inclusive Wines:
Cavino Ionos Red, White and Rose Wines (by the glass)
Celestyal Cruises All Inclusive Beers:
Draught Beer (large)
Draught Beer (small)
Non Alcoholic Beer
Celestyal Cruises All Inclusive Water, Soft Drinks and Juices:
The above is all the information the menu has in regards to soft drinks. From memory the soft drinks that are included are: Coke, Diet Coke, Fanta, Ginger Ale, Lemonade.
The soft drinks are available in all of the bars and they also have tables set up by the pool and in the buffet where you can get a soft drink. Prior to the cruise I thought that the drinks would be fountain soda’s but they appeared to be poured straight from the bottle.
Celestyal Cruises All Inclusive Hot Beverages:
Greek Coffee Double
Tea (assorted selection)
Celestyal Cruises All Inclusive “Cool and Exotic Coffees”:
Frappe Iced Coffee
I have to admit I am not a coffee drinker so the above names really mean very little to me. I was very impressed however by the fact that hot drinks are included in the all inclusive drinks package. On most other cruise lines this would be considered premium drinks even if the cruise line was all inclusive.
Ordering a Drink – Celestyal Cruises
When ordering a drink your cruise card is scanned and usually taken away with the waiter. It is then returned to you along with your drink. You don’t have to sign for anything that has a 0 value but you do have to sign for things that have an associated cost.
The 0 value drinks can be seen on your onboard account which I liked, it was cool to be able to see how many free drinks I was having!
