ad • Hey hey! I’ve just disembarked a veeeery warm (but fantastic) week in the Mediterranean onboard Norwegian Epic! 🔥🛳️
Epic is completely unique and she was the ship where Norwegian tried new things. Some of them they did again, and some they never did (like the quirky bathroom layout). 😂⚓️
She is definitely the most divisive cruise ship out there, some people love her and others love to hate her. I cruised on her way back in 2015, before I ever considered talking about cruises online, so I wanted to head back to see how the ship is doing in 2026. 😎👌
I cannot wait to show you this ship. 🛳️😎
Here’s a preview of that cabin layout, featuring me in the shower cubicle and my friend Fraser (FraserAtSea) in the toilet cubicle! 😂😂
Norwegian Epic’s cabins don’t have a separate bathroom with a closed off door. It’s much more open plan with a curtain you can see more of that in a little short I made here. 🚽🚿
I have just received the first look at the next First Mate Rolo and Captain Hudson designs!! Aren’t they SO CUTE!! 🥳❤️
The designs might change very slightly before they go on the sale, but I couldn’t resist sharing these.
As always, all profits will be going to charity. Lucky’s Legacy for First Mate Rolo and Mercy Ships for Captain Hudson. 🐈🐕
They aren’t available to order yet but make sure that you are on the waitlist (and keep an eye on these weekly emails) and I’ll let you know when they are ready to order. 🤩🩷
What happens to a cruise ship when she reaches the end of her cruising life? Thousands of passengers might have made lifelong memories on board, but all ships come to the end of their working life sooner or later.
I recently took a mystery cruise with the British cruiseline, Fred. Olsen. We took a five-day trip from Portsmouth, and we had no idea where we would be sailing to.
The ship itself felt surprisingly British – small and slightly quirky.
