A couple of days ago, I took a cruise that went UNDER TOWER BRIDGE in central London! Yep, you heard me right, the bridge opened up and we sailed out late at night. 🤯⚓️
I love London so this was a dream come true and something I’ll never forget. The ship was Windstar’s Star Pride and she holds a maximum of 312 guests. She’s a tiny little ship compared to the ships I usually sail on. 🌊😇
I say she’s tiny and she is, but she used to be even smaller. The ship was cut in half and a brand new section was added in the middle in 2020. My cabin was one of the new cabins added, so although the ship was built in the 1980s, my cabin was built in the 2020s! 🛌👀
I can’t wait to show you everything, videos coming soon!
I’m sure you have seen cruise content creators wandering around ships with big cameras and using lots of different equipment. People, think I use big cameras and have big setups too. I don’t.
I know that a concern of many travellers is that if they book a cruise, they will be stuck with thousands of people. There will be busy pools, packed buffets, no seats in the bars – and it will be exhausting – not relaxing!
The location of your cabin might matter more than the facilities and price, particularly if you are sailing in winter months or in areas notorious for rough seas!
