When I started Cruising Isn’t Just For Old People I wanted to build a community of likeminded ‘young’ cruisers. That was almost 8 months ago and I’m amazed everyday by the kindness of the people that surround this website and associated social media accounts. It really makes me so happy to see people from all over the world brought together by a love of cruising.
Guest blog for us
As much as I love blogging, I don’t know everything *gasp!*. There are many cruise lines that I haven’t tried and parts of the world that I am yet to explore. In order to grow and expand our community we need new and exciting guest bloggers. You don’t have to be a professional writer or have any particular skills, some cruising experience and a couple of opinions will be perfect!
(I have a maths degree, writing isn’t my strong point at all but I seem to do okay…)
Regular guest blogging
If you’re a super keen bean you’re more than welcome to have a permanent spot on the site with a weekly/monthly slot (subject to content approval from me). You’ll be featured on our ‘about us’ tab and each post will have a little information about you on it, you can link back to your own blog if you have one. About us tab.
One off guest posts
If you’re unsure about guest blogging or maybe just have one topic that you would like to tell the world about then one off guest post may be an option. There is no commitment needed and I am always happy to accept one time articles. You can still link back to your blog if you have one.
- ‘Things you should know before cruising with…’ posts for different cruise lines, P&O, Carnival and AIDAprima are cruise lines that I’m really keen to get more content on.
- Destination guides: Any cruise ports that you’ve visited and loved (or maybe hated).
- Dining/Drinking guides for different cruise lines. I’m always a bit overwhelmed with the dining options on a new cruise line and find that people really love these types of guides.
